San Diego

These next few pics were from a recent short trip to San Diego when I had a free evening. This is looking at downtown next to San Diego bay. 

Looking south down the beach right before sunset. 

This alien-looking thing with the long tentacle was washed up on the beach. I guess it is some kelp (seaweed), but I wouldn't want to bump into this while swimming in the ocean.

Watching the setting sun as a surfer rides in a wave.
