The excellent french toast breakfast the girls made me for Fathers Day.

These next few pictures are from a camping trip the first week of May to Mark Twain Lake, north of St. Louis. It was a nice weekend, a little cool for May, but excellent camping weather.

Caving Vacation.

We recently took a couple of days driving in Missouri to some of its more historic sites. We took the opportunity to tour some famous caves in the state as well as a historic civil war battlefield. It was fun and interesting. The cave in the picture is Graham cave. 

Graham Cave

Graham Cave was not the kind of cave we expected. What you see in the picture is all you get.

Onondaga Cave was awesome!

We also visited the Wilson's creek National Battlefield also outside of Springfield. Here the girls are looking at one of the civil war headquarters.

Fantastic Caverns

Fantastic Caverns, also near Springfield was by far the most commercial, but the girls enjoyed it.

We got a personal, private tour from Mr. Richardson, the 89 yr old retiree, who owns Crystal
Cave near Springfield, MO.
